Mark 5
Scripture References: Mark 5:1-43
From Series: "Mark"
John Mark was the son of a women named Mary and a cousin of Barnabas. He wrote the gospel of Mark not so much as a biography of Jesus but rather as a record of the actions and achievements of Jesus.Mark primarily wrote for non-Jewish readers and shows them the deity of Jesus through miracles.Although Mark emphasises the deity of Jesus, he also emphasises the servant heart of Jesus. Jesus came not to be served but to serve and leaves us an example of how to live as one of His disciples.
